Program of Studies 2025-2026

As we begin to prepare for the 2025-26 school year, we ask students to review the updated Program of Studies found below to be familiar with the JCHS course offerings.  It is important that you know what your options are and what courses you would like to take prior to meeting with your School Counselor for your scheduling appointments.

New courses that will be offered next year include AP Economics and Introduction to Theater Technology & Stage Management.  Be sure to look for their course descriptions in the Program of Studies to learn more about these courses.

James Caldwell High School has partnered with Fairleigh Dickinson University, Seton Hall University, and Kean University's Dual Enrollment programs to allow students to take college level courses in high school. Dual Enrollment courses are denoted with "DE" throughout the Program of Studies.

College bound athletes need to be sure they have the kind and number of courses required to meet NCAA eligibility requirements if they plan to compete on a college level in any Division I or Division II athletic program. Courses in this Program of Studies have been noted as "NCAA approved courses" if they have met these requirements.
