They Came to America
 
Students at GCMS lived a dream -- an American Dream – as sixth graders celebrated the ninth annual Immigration Day. On January 30, students dressed as ancestors or self-created immigrants from throughout the world. hreniuk signing College Commitments
 
Five seniors from JCHS have committed to play college sports next year. Jessica Bracamonte, Leanna Chen, Gianna Genello, Jamie Hreniuk, and Stefano Russillo have committed to play sports at the next level as college freshmen. Bracamonte will play lacrosse for Quinnipiac University, Chen will play track and field for Caldwell University, Genello will play softball for Rowan University, Hreniuk will play soccer for Scranton University and Russillo will play soccer for UMass Amherst. Stay tuned for more senior athletic commitments! Go Chiefs!
 

winter break February Break
 
The Caldwell-West Caldwell Public Schools will have an early dismissal on Friday, February 13, and be closed on Monday and Tuesday, February 16 and 17, for winter break. Remember to check the district calendar for early dismissals, special events, vacations and more. The calendar should be customized to ensure that it includes the schools and information in which you are most interested. Directions on how to customize the calendar can be found on the website. Enjoy the break! 

doctor Athletic Physical Forms for 2015-2016 School Year

Current and soon-to-be high school students: Don't wait until summer to get your physical forms completed. If you have a well-visit check coming up, bring the packet to your physician now. Forms completed now are valid for the 2015-2016 school year. Stop by the high school nurse's office to pick up a printed copy of the forms. Contact school nurse Danielle Ciccaglione with any questions.
 

pre-k Preschool Open House and Registration
 
Registration for the Harrison School Pre-K program is now open. Parents interested in the program are invited to attend a Preschool Open House on Thursday, February 19, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., or Monday, February 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Harrison School, Gray Street, West Caldwell.
